So the queries have started! "Am I in the book?". Well here's a clue......... if you are a goblin, or one of several elephants, or if you once sneezed in my presence after inadvertently taking a laxative, then the answer is a resounding "yes". Sorry.
For that!
Chances are you will know loads of folk who ARE included in the book, but please wait for the editing process to be complete. In the meantime, spread this blog and spread the love for me. Thick. Cheers!

Not sure how many folk out there wondered about the title of this blog? "Sorry for that!" is the title of a book that I have written - and it is currently being edited. It should be available on Kindle in a couple of weeks time, and the interesting thing is......over 80 acquaintances, family and friends are mentioned by name. So you may be famous soon? The book is about life in Zim, and details wacky incidents that have made me smile. And cry.
If I have omitted your name in the book - sorry for that!
If you are mentioned in the book - very very sorry for that!

My life is a living nightmare! On Saturday night, my miniature sausage dog caught a rat in the kitchen at home after half an hour of excited scratching and scrambling. Now.......she is looking for rats 24/7 - and looking EVERYWHERE! Cannot lie in bed, watch tv or even sit on the toilet without a frantic dog asking me to come and help her look for more vermin by moving cupboards, chairs, etc! She is even convinced a rat lives in the hinge of the door into Courtneys room - and spends ages running from one side to the other in search. Eish.

Peterhouse Gala
Just returned from the Interhouse Gala at Peterhouse, with "vee-shaped" tan to prove I was time-keeping! Dayna won runner-up in her Age Group, but unfortunately Impala came second - by just 2 points, in the final tally. Fantastic day out and a great braai under the trees. Dayna and Courtney both had 2 seconds and a third at the Friday Night Gala in Harare - and Courtney managed her first long-distance race, swimming in an 800m Freestyle. She wasnt tired by the end, so obviously some gas left in the tank. There was great excitement because Kirsty Coventry was watching and signed caps and tracksuits for both girls.
Great
Now I have to buy 2 new caps and 2 new tracksuits!!!!

My 12-year old daughter Courtney is 'vorbotten' to use our First Aid kit without our permission. Last night she scraped her knuckles making coffee (don't ask!) while I was down at the hotel and was bleeding slightly. I came home to find her fast asleep with a wad of toilet paper cellotaped to her hand!
